Sarah Warchhold
I studied at the University of Freiburg from which I’m holding a bachelor’s degree (German language and literature studies and History of Art) as well as a master’s degree in German linguistics. During my studies, I focused on interactional linguistics (using eye-tracking) and psycholinguistics and fell in love with coding in R/Posit.
Currently, I’m a PhD student in the Baby Speech Lab at the University of Konstanz, Germany. The DFG funded project I’m working on focuses on the influence of regional variants on phonological word representation in toddlers. In my dissertation, I investigate the word (form) recognition of varietal word forms in toddlers (12 to 24 months olds) and lexical activation of varietal word forms in adults (supervised by Prof. Dr. Bettina Braun and Prof. Dr. Tamara Rathcke, supported by Jun.-Prof. Dr. Katharina Zahner-Ritter).
